A Week in Review is a series where I summarize all the latest updates of farm and fixer upper life in one spot. Last week was spent working both inside the farmhouse and outside on the garden.

Farm & Garden
Since buying our farmhouse I try my best to stick to one big project at a time, because naturally I jump from project to project. Jumping around makes it take a lot longer to finish a project, but it does make them more fun in my opinion. Since working from home, I’ve found myself in the middle of a few different projects. The greenhouse is one of them. Building the greenhouse, a brick floor, patio, walkway, and 12 raised beds is making me soo excited to enjoy this space this summer.
What are you looking forward to doing once the weather gets warmer?
Progress in the Farmhouse Sitting Room
This room has come soo far since we bought our farmhouse. This gorgeous brick mantel was hidden behind layers of sheet rock, the walls covered in blue wallpaper from the 80s, pocket doors covered in a deep red varnish, and floors worn out and unable to be refinished. Oh yea arguably the best part, these amazing 1800’s beams buried behind 4 layers of ceiling. We still have a ways to go in here; new electrical, a lot of work to restore the fireplace, and painting the trim. I can’t wait to turn this space into our sitting room. That dream is getting closer and closer!
Public Goods
Today on the blog I shared all about a company we have been loving for almost a year now, Public Goods. They produce quality, organic, healthy home products and dry goods at an affordable cost. They are beautifully packaged which I love but they are also delivered right to your door, which might be the best part! Now is better than ever to give them a try. You can find our favorite Public Goods items and a discount code HERE!
Have you tried Public Goods yet? What are your favorite products? It’s hard to choose but mine might be the shampoo and conditioner!
Video of our Farmhouse Master Bedroom
Happy Saturday! Did you know I have a YouTube channel?! I don’t post a lot but I did share a video of our master bedroom. It has a ton of before and after shots and really shows just how far this room has come. HERE is the link if you want to check it out!
Raised Bed Garden
Happy Sunday! Today was supposed to be warm and sunny so I decided to work on my raised beds. Just like last time right when I got everything I set up it got gloomy, cold and started to sprinkle. I worked through it and got a few more beds done. I will be sharing a lot more on this soon!
