A Blessing in Disguise
Lately I’ve been feeling extra grateful for technology. With all the challenges we are faced with during quarantine, technology has been a saving grace. I have had the opportunity to connect with my friends via Zoom and Google hangouts and feel more in touch than before the quarantine started. Happy hours that used to happen only a couple times a year have happened a couple times a month! Don’t get me wrong, this is not an easy time, but I am very grateful for the ways we are able to connect during a time when physical closeness is restricted.
An Exciting New Space
Earlier this week I shared about a new space in our home that for the first time I’m really excited about. It’s a really awkward space and a huge design challenge. I have big long term plans for the space, bit want to make the most out of it in the meantime. I think I finally figured out how! One of the major changes I made was adding a huge gallery wall using vintage pieces I already had. I shared all the details on the blog HERE.
DIY Farmhouse Gallery Wall
This week I shared all the details for how to create a gallery wall, like this vintage farmhouse one I created in our home. Gallery walls not only add character to your home but they’re also a great conversation starter.

Planting Seeds for the Garden
Do you want to know my trick for staying sane during quarantine? It’s planting all the things. I wasn’t planning on doing much of a garden this year but when life turned upside down I decided that gardening was the perfect distraction. There is something so rewarding about watching a tiny little seed turn into a healthy plant, and hopefully eventually produce vegetables that will nourish our family.
Working on the Farm
Saturday was spent installing gates. It wasn’t hard work, but very tedious. It is the last step until we can use the fence, which we are really looking forward to. We got about half way done with the gates today so we are almost there!

I did a lot of work on blog stuff this week. Did you know that there is a ton of work that goes into blogging that you never actually see? I love blogging, the pretty parts and even the boring behind the scenes tasks. I love it because I get to share my passions and tips I’ve learned with YOU! So, I want to be sure the the things I share are relevant and helpful to you.
Can I ask you a huge favor?! Will you let me know what you enjoy seeing on the blog? What would you like to see? Is there a problem your having that I can help with? Let me know in the comments below!
