My favorite Gardening Tools
Is it just me or are the days flying by? Last week I shared a couple things I ordered from target for my friend who loves to garden. I love this classic green metal water can and the hand shovel might be the best one I’ve ever seen! I also got her these really nice gardening gloves.

Garden Planning
Our weather has been so cold but that hasn’t stopped me from planning my garden. There is such a blank slate and surprisingly it almost makes it more difficult to figure out where I want things to go. I have raised beds, bulbs, dahlias, pumpkins, and a mini Vineyard to include. More on this soon!

The Best Soy Candle
You guys know I love candles and supporting small shops. One of my favorites is Jasper + Fern No. 53. Jen creates amazing soy candles that smell beyond amazing. Most recently I got the Lavender + Sage and Heirloom Tomato and they are GOOD! I seriously don’t know how she gets the scent so spot on but she does every single time. Be sure to check them out!
Our White Farmhouse in Spring
Spring might be my favorite season on the farm. It’s so fun seeing the first signs of growth. It seems like every day there is something new budding, which makes for perfect spring decor. This year I am also able to see all the plants I planted in the fall come up for the first time. I can’t wait to watch all the hydrangeas and shrubs come to life.
What is your favorite perennials, trees, or shrubs? I hope to add more over time and would love your advice for what I should plant next!

House Renovation Update
We have been having crazy NY weather, AKA snow on May 9th! The positive perspective is that it motivated me to paint the trim in the sitting room, which I have been procrastinating. I finished that up and just have the entryway to paint tomorrow. I’m starting to think of what room I should tackle next and it will either be the kitchen, breezeway/mudroom area, upstairs hallway, or guest bedroom. What room do you think I should start with?!
