Merry Christmas!
Having a baby brought a whole new excitement to the holiday season. I was inspired to decorate our son’s nursery with a classic Christmas theme. It was so much fun using classic, yet simple items to fill his room with a cozy Christmas vibe.

Little Details
There are so many little details throughout Kaden’s Classic Christmas Farmhouse nursery decor. I have been collecting items you see here for years. In fact, I bout the “believe” banner years ago with the intention of one day using it to decorate a kids bedroom. It’s crazy thinking back on that and realizing how fast time goes by.
Classic Christmas Tree
When I was thinking about how I wanted to decorate his nursery, I imagined a old time feel with lots of red and DIY decor. I wanted it to feel home made, cozy, and rustic. In order for the tree to fit this feel, I wanted it to be a bit sparse, imperfect, and have an older feel. Walmart had a $22 6′ tree that was the perfect base for what I was imagining. I layered vintage ribbon, garland, DIY orange garland, mercury glass ornaments, red felt stockings, and large bulb Christmas lights to create a cozy vintage Christmas vibe. The vintage Elves were the icing on the cake! Kaden’s eyes light up at the sight of the tree and it makes my heart so happy.
Festive Changing Table
Even the changing table got some decor. I kept it simple by layering garlands and adding a vintage wooden reindeer with some bottle brush trees.
Classic Christmas Bookshelves
Bookshelves are good for more than just books! The bookshelf in Kaden’s nursery was the perfect place to display cute little details that add to the whimsical charm of his classic Christmas nursery.
