Garden Tour | Week 4 2020
I am back to share a one month update on our raised beds garden! Typically I share how I create cozy spaces on a budget inside our 1800’s farmhouse, but this year I am spending a lot of time and energy building a space to garden. I will be sharing more of the progress I make turning this once bare space into the garden area of my dreams while learning how to grow and harvest food along the way. We are in Upstate NY, growing zone 6b. I am not a garden expert, but enjoy sharing my trials and errors and lessons learned along the way.
After watching the video, let me know what YOU would do for shelving in the greenhouse in the comments.
Don’t miss a beet! (Get it?!)
Ever hear the saying “Knee high by 4th of July?” Well here @flintcreekfarm we say “Bean high by 4th of July.” We call our OG farm dog, Lola, “Bean” or “Beannie” because she is tiny like a little bean dog- it just fits. She also makes a great marker to see if our corn is growing at the rate it should be. Lola isn’t super pleased about this new role of hers, she would rather be chasing chickens.
