I went picking last weekend and came home to a haul that even Joanna Gaines would be proud of! Check out all the vintage and antique farmhouse style finds I scored.
By now you know that I have a passion for finding antique and vintage treasures for our home. I get so many questions on Instagram about where and how I find these things so I wrote a whole eBook all about this! You can get you copy HERE. Today, I want to share a few of my recent finds!
My Dream Piece of Furniture
This large cabinet is a dream piece for me. Keep reading until the end to see this baby all put together! To score this piece, I used Tip #2 from my eBook. I saw this in the pictures of an estate sale and made sure I hit this sale first.
Can it get any better?
This lemon art was another must have. I couldn’t get to the sale until the second day, so not only was I lucky enough that it was still there but I also scored it for half off, making it only $30! I’m not sure if it is a print or a real drawing, but I am obsessed with it either way! I also found the gold framed mirror in the back for $12 and the cute little frameless mirror for only $1! Check out some of the smaller items I found throughout the day in the pictures below. These items ranged from only .50 cents to a couple of dollars, score!
Finding Potential
The other trick to finding great items on a budget is seeing the potential in things. This can be a blessing and a curse because once you learn to see the potential you want all the things! This stool is a perfect example. It is covered in random paint, dust, and the seat is falling apart. BUT, if you can look past all of that you will see a solid metal and wood stool with a super neat swivel gadget and a seat that can easily be painted or replaced with a new piece of wood.
My Vintage 25 Drawer Wood Cabinet
I knew I had to have this piece when I saw it on the estate sale website. Funny story, on my way to pick up my sister-in-law to go to this sale, I took a wrong turn that set me back 30 minutes! I thought for sure this piece would be sold by the time we made it to the sale. Luckily, we made it before the sale even opened, but when we got in the house I walked right past the cabinet. The cabinet was way larger than it looked in the picture so I did’t see it at first. It felt like everyone there was looking at it but I quickly found an employee and claimed it as mine (after calling Kurt of course to see if it was even possible to get this beast home).
Lucky for me Kurt is willing to make all my crazy ideas come to life. Getting this 5′ x 6′ solid wood cabinet up a flight of stairs in a heat wave was no joke and it took myself, Kurt, SIL, and MIL! I am happy to say it’s at the farmhouse where it will be staying. And because I know a lot of people are curious about prices, I scored this cabinet for only $100!
What do you think of my haul? I hope I answered all your questions, but if not you can leave them in the comments and I will get back to you! Also be sure to check out my free eBook where I share my main Tips & Tricks for finding treasures on a budget. I’ll be sharing more about how I style these treasures in our house soon!
Thank you SO much for stopping by the blog today, it means the world to me!

Wow, those are some Pretty amazing finds. Do you usually have To show up at sales eaRlier than the advertised start time?
Thank you! Yes, it is a good idea to get there atleast 15 minutes before to be one of the first in, although some people will get there hours before they open.
